Company Director, Katie Godfrey has been asked to be a Judge for the Milton Keynes Beauty Awards.

Katie is judging ‘Best Beauty Salon” and “Best Eyelash Tech”

As the brand KG has won over 13 awards now, it’s amazing we are now being asked to judge awards in the industry. Katie will be going around to all the finalists over the next few weeks to meet them all and start the judging process.

Katie Godfrey will also be speaking on the night of the event!

Lash Festival Judge 2017

SO EXCITED and honoured to be asked to be the judge in this years Lash Festival 2017.

Always wanted to get into judging, so this is an amazing experience. Thank you for asking me Eyelash Emporium

I am spending the day today going through all the entries of the Russian Volume entries – So much talent. It’s amazing to see.

AUTUMN LASH SHED

Yes it’s that time of year! Your hair feels crap, your hair on your body might be slightly different, if you have a dog/cat they will be moulting, after all we are all animals and this time of year all our hair SHREDS, and unfortunately this means our beautiful eyelashes.

Why does this happen?

This time of year, the sun is disappearing which means less vitamin D, which tells our body we don’t need our hair as much anymore, as our hair on our body is there to protect us from the sun! So that is the science behind it.

So your lashes might be falling out quicker, you might have large gaps. It’s not you, it’s not us, it’s not our glue or your lash techs glue. When your extension is falling out with the natural lash like the image above – there is nothing any of us can do.

You might want to bring your appointments slightly forward to they don’t get to gappy. In a month of so this will stop and will go back to normal, so don’t worry!
